Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola

Today we woke up early and had a quick breakfast of cereal and oatmeal. With no time to spare we pulled up the anchors and began our 2-hour sail to our next destination of Jost Van Dyke. The oceans lurched, and the rain came pouring down as the sky opened up during our sail. It was a beautiful sight. And after the rain, a rainbow emerged from the horizon. Once we were anchored we headed out on our dinghies with our work gloves and water bottles in hand to land on the island of Jost Van Dyke. We were going to an elementary school to prepare drywall and paint, but first, we allowed some time to shop and explore the island. It was our first time on the shores of Jost Van Dyke, and we enjoyed the palm trees, blue waters, and colorful shops and restaurants the island had to offer. We found delicious warm bread for only a dollar, and we even saw Foxy himself perform. Then we walked to the elementary school where we spent the day spackling the new drywall in the classrooms in preparation to paint them tomorrow. The evening was spent trying to fit as many people as possible into a head and complimenting our amazing skipper Gwen on her many virtues.
