Today we continued our service with the babies and group homes. Aside from that we helped cut diaper inserts for the babies. For lunch, we had leftover dumplings and grilled cheese. Although the chefs of the day had set the fire alarm off, luckily we had a restaurant near us to get fried rice. And might I add, it was wonderful. Our afternoon activity for today was finishing up our calligraphy work. The calligraphy teacher was stuck in traffic, so we painted a lotus flower. After painting, we had another tea party! It’s great being in China because tea parties are normal here and I enjoy going to them. It was also great to get some Western treats after. Later tonight after dinner, we are going to watch some of the Last Emperor. Hopefully, we get a good nights sleep tonight for our long bus ride to Taiyuan tomorrow!
