Location: Great Barrier Reef
On our last day on the boat, we were woken up at 5:45 am for the first dive of the day. Our briefing was on the top deck of the boat while the sun was still not up and everyone was chilly. Keighley, Jacob, Tres, Sophia and I (Lujan) went on the dive in a group, and we saw four turtles, a school of humphead parrotfish, and much more amazing fish. On our way back, we sadly got lost again. It seems Keighley, and I am very good at that, but luckily found our way back before we ran out of air. For the next dive site, we had a 10-minute boat ride and then had to put our wetsuits back on. We grouped up with Keighley, Lea, Jacob, Sophia, Tres and me again and were planning on making it a short dive to Nemo and back. We got down and found Nemo pretty fast then explored the coral for a bit. As we ascended, we got carried by the current and had a nice long swim back to the boat. For the third dive, only Jack and James went while I went for a quick swim in the ocean and the rest of the group tanned on the top deck. After the dive, we packed up and started motoring back to the harbor. We spotted some whales during the ride back. When we got back to the motel, we all took nice showers to get the salt out of our hair and went to get some dinner. We got our phones back to call our parents and tell them everything was okay after our three days of scuba on the Great Barrier Reef. We were not all sitting on our phones all night and decided to enjoy the last nights together and just chill with some music. We then all went to bed because we had an early morning the next day for whitewater rafting on the Tully River.
