Location: Uvita
Today we woke up extra early, ate a quick (and awesome) breakfast at the hotel before heading out of Uvita to Golfito to start work renovating and building walls for a local school! In the process of building, I think we were all pretty surprised at the amount of work, sweat, and technique it takes to dig a good hole (for the foundation of the walls). Luckily, we had the help of an incredibly strong and construction savvy guy we eventually nicknamed “Superman.” Working all day with the help of Superman and frozen chocolate bananas, we were able to finish a substantial amount of work, and we are all super excited to see it finished!! After that, we headed to a new hotel, and we are all super psyched about the beautiful rooms and huge pool. We are all exhausted after a long day and probably are going to go to sleep relatively early.
