Location: West End, Tortola

Running on very few hours of sleep, we completed the Spyglass hike bright and early this morning. Krisz woke the first group, who were Morgan, Liam, Chris, Anna B., and Avah, up around 5:15. They went with Annie to enjoy a very chill hike, while everybody else woke up a bit later. King Rylo led the speedy group of Surya, Shaila, Hannah, Lily, Elle, Griffin, and me up to the top of the mountain. We were extremely quick and got to the top in no time. After the fun activity we did at the top, we began the trek back down. As always, Chris and Hannah took a few tumbles once again, but they made it down safely. We went back to the boat and had our last breakfast together… dry cereal! It is probably a good thing that we ran out of milk, considering that it tasted a bit ranchy. After breakfast, we began our deep clean of the entire boat. Morgan and Hannah were knee-deep in dirt and toenails as they cleaned the bilges out. Lily and Surya were determined to scrub the deck. We all scrubbed and washed everything for hours, and the counselors were quite impressed with our hard work. We arrived at West End in Tortola and got to enjoy the best lunch in town. Half of the group went to the iconic Pussers restaurant and ordered burgers, and the other half went to a delicious cafe. The avocado bagels did not disappoint.

Liam, Surya, Hannah, and I also got yummy coffees. Afterward, we did a lot of shopping, and everyone bought very cute matching bracelets. We also bought Rylo, Benzie, Krisz, and Annie bracelets as well. And of course, we had to stop at the Pusser’s shop to take a look around. Lily and Shaila bought matching Pussers t-shirts, and so did Morgan and I. After finishing all of our hard work, we were asked to help clean dinghies. We returned to the boat and prepared for the BBQ. We got all dressed up and made our way to Omars. The food was delicious and a perfect way to end the trip. I’m going to miss all of the memories and people I’ve met on this trip, and writing this is making me so sad. I’m forever grateful that I ended up on this boat, and I’ve learned so many new things along the way. I’ll never forget this group of people and all of the things we accomplished together.

Hi Mom, Dad, Lily, Kate, and Myles! I can’t wait to see you guys soon and tell you everything. I miss you and love you all so much; I hope you’ve enjoyed reading the blogs. Dad, I hope you have an iced coffee waiting for me at the airport!
