Today started on the right foot-we woke up an hour later than usual! After a slow breakfast, we finally got going and hiked about 10 minutes to Red Bay for another beach cleanup. It was more of an educational example than a cleanup, and we applied the information learned last night to the activity we did there. It was jarring to see how much trash collected in such a small area, and the effects in our whole group were obvious. After that, we went back to the boat and motored to another bay where we anchored. There, we learned how to tie knots and how to use the dinghies. Everyone passed the dinghy test, so now we can all officially drive them ourselves! We swam a bit, then showered, and then had dinner. Now, we are cleaning up and getting ready for another evening activity that is related to turtle tagging! We had a great time today, and are all excited for days to come.
