Location: Andes to Quito
Today not all that much happened. But a blog for fretting parents must be done daily, so enjoy a recount of yet another travel day. We didn’t have to get up super early this time, which was nice. Since we didn’t have to leave until around 11 am we played some card games – a couple of games of idiot and one particularly competitive game of card war. After that, we all packed onto the rather nice bus for a four or so hour ride back to our sleeping quarters in Quito. After a quick rest we split off into our two groups of five and continued to plan on how to teach children at the school we will visit some English. A fun task indeed, since one, maybe two people might know passable Spanish. After that experience, it’s time for dinner, with meat for the first time in days! That chicken was very good actually.
