Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today on the Rebuilding Island Life team we woke up early to paint the houses of hurricane victims. We also had the absolute privilege of meeting Dexter, a resident of one of the houses we painted. We had lunch at Foxy’s and took a break before returning to work painting Dexter’s beach bar. Dexter also made us fried fish. The Preserving Paradise kids had their fair share of work to do as well as they took some of the local kids on a sailing trip to another part of the island where they planted mangroves, swam, and played games. At the end of the day of making the world a better place, we enjoyed a BBQ on a barren island in the middle of the ocean. All around a good day saving the world. That’s all for now gamers.
