Location: Anegada
We had a slow morning after a not-so-good night’s sleep on the trampoline. After a sleepy breakfast of oatmeal, we set off to Anegada. The sail was a rough and bumpy three hours. Everyone was feeling seasick and tired so we took a nap on the salon floor, which was one of the best naps ever. After arriving in Anegada, we had a quick lunch. Anegada is a completely flat island with brilliant bright blue water. We took a tour of the island, where we saw a flock of flamingos, hundreds of conch shells, and an iguana sanctuary, and took a tour of a museum where we learned about the BVI’s history. After arriving back on the boat, we took ocean showers and chilled out before dinner. For dinner, it was Mexican night, with tacos/burritos and taco salad. While we ate, we watched Anegada’s gorgeous sunset.
