July 17th: Fly dayJuly 18th: Student arrival in Bangkok; Lifeworks orientation and check-inJuly 19th to 20th: Introduction to DPF projects; Klong Toey slum tour; Community development projects at the Lock 1-2-3 Children’s Center; Renovation of playground (painting, fencing, & laying concrete)July 21st: Klong Toey community education program – fire preventionJuly 22nd to 23rd: Bangkok city tours including temples, palaces, and marketsJuly 24th to 25th: Elder citizen project including home visits and field trip to the Thai Buffalo Conservation CenterJuly 26th: DPF Kindergarten service including traditional Thai sports and playground painting projectJuly 27th to August 1st: DPF New Life Project program (Kanchanaburi Province); Activities include agricultural projects (rice and banana plantings, oil palm tree maintenance), youth/school projects, Songkran festival (traditional water festival), Tungsala temple visit, elephant trekking, Krasae cave and Saiyoknoi waterfall toursAugust 2nd: Klong Toey t-shirt and plastic bottle projectAugust 3rd to 4th: Klong Toey youth program including field trip to Baan Suanrimnam Resort, souvenir making, and discussion of local youth issuesAugust 5th: DPF closing activities; Farewell partyAugust 6th: Bangkok shopping; Lifeworks closing activities; Fly day
