Chris graduated from Stanford University and received his master’s degree from the University of Miami. Since 2008, Chris has worked for Sea|mester, ActionQuest, and Lifeworks programs – leading young people on trips across the world including Tahiti, Fiji, Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Maldives, South Africa, Brazil, French Guyana, Dominica, Barbados, Saba, Azores, Greece, Italy, and France. In his spare time he enjoys diving, sailing, surfing, rock climbing, traveling and spending as much time outdoors as possible.
Maria is an experienced educator and avid traveler. A graduate of UCLA and NYU, Maria has been teaching for the last eight years, working with teenagers in New York City, New Mexico, and San Diego. Born in Mexico, her obsessive curiosity about people and culture has led her across the globe, including travels to Tibet, Nepal, France, Poland, Ecuador, Peru and Nicaragua. When she’s not busy sharing her love for life and books with students, Maria enjoys hiking, woodworking, and cooking for others.
