Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

After a night of hard rain and gusting wind, we woke up to the soothing sound of music. After some delicious pancakes, we started our trek up to the windward side of Virgin Gorda. Upon reaching the beach, we were greeted by the amazing views and the winds of the powerful ocean. At first sight, the beach looked pristine and well kept. However, after a short exercise, we realized the beach was littered with toxic plastic and tons of waste. Then we sailed to Mountain Point, where we were all very excited to go turtle tagging. Shortly after our lunch of mac and cheese, we took our dinghies to go search for some turtles.  Anticipating to catch turtles, we were sadly let down due to the fact that we failed to dive deep enough to catch the fast swimming turtles. When our appetites caught up with us, we happily ate beef stroganoff and garlic bread. After a long exciting day, we came to a halt and prepared to go to bed for a early morning.
