Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today we started out the day by learning to tie different knots around the boat. We learned the full round double half hitch, bowline, and cleat knots. We then learned about turtles and why we are tagging the turtles. We then sailed to Mountain Point and snorkeled, getting used to snorkeling and the snorkeling gear. Then we snorkeled in zig-zag search patterns to find turtles. We then went on the beach and played capture the flag. My favorite part of the day was snorkeling and being able to see all the different fish and creatures. I am really excited to sail again, snorkel, and do community service. I am also enjoying still getting to know people.
