Location: Leverick Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today we woke up at 6:45 because the rest of GoBeyond (Maddie, Leah, and Kate) and I were working at the school. We had a delicious breakfast of cereal and began our travels to Virgin Gorda once again by taking a dinghy and a taxi to the school. We were at the school from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm. Maddie, Leah, and I built the chicken coop all day, and it turned out really well, while Kate helped with painting things around the school. For lunch, we had peanut butter and jelly, and Nutella if we wanted, and it was very delicious. By 4:00 pm, we were all very tired and also covered in dirt from our day of hard work. While we were doing that at 8:00 am, everyone else went to the beach. Aubrey, Lacey, Atlin, Liv, and Jonah chilled in the water and the sand while Cole and Toby went zesting. At 9:30 am, they went mangrove snorkeling and saw some amazing sights. At 11:00 am, Lacey, Atlin, Liv, Cole, and Toby had a dive chat. Later for lunch, Cole and Atlin made Ramen, and it was very delicious. After lunch, Aubrey went kneeboarding while everyone else learned to drive the dinghy and also went swimming. After they sailed to Leverick, they met Maddie, Kate, Leah, and me at the dock. Once we were all back together, we went to the local grocery store and bought lots of goods. After that, we went back onto the boat and got to have our phones back to talk to our parents, which made us all very happy. We all got quickly changed and went back onto land and had a BBQ. There were burgers, hot dogs, salad, fruit, etc, and most importantly, ice-cold water. We all loved the food and went dancing on the dance floor after, where we became very tired and sweaty. After we went back onto the boat and we all went to sleep as we were very tired. Miss everyone at home and can’t wait to talk to you guys again!
