Jada – I started the day off with some breakfast. Later on, we met up in the lobby to separate us into two groups. 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 was my group. We went to a home for the elderly and disabled children and adults named Santa Theresa to volunteer. We washed clothes, fed people, brushed the children’s teeth, and put them to sleep.

Zanobia – We started in the morning pretty early. We had our typical bowl of fruit and yogurt like we have every day. We headed down to the lobby, and we were split into groups based on our numbers. All evens went with Meca, and Mariana and odds went with Evan. I was one of the odds. We headed to Casa Mantay to do a little hard work. There, we helped clear debris for construction purposes. We worked for about 3 to 4 hours in the hot sun, but it was worth it. We had lunch with the moms and socialized for a bit after we helped clean dishes which was pretty fun. We were reunited back at the hotel where we freshened up for dinner. For dinner, we ate at a place called Pacha Papa where we tried Peruvian delicacies. One of them was a guinea pig? Christian was pretty adventurous and tried Alpaca kababs. My overall day was an amazing experience.
