I, Lewis, spent the day at Santa Theresa, while I, Christian, spent the day at Casa Mantay. For me (Lewis) today was a very intense experience that I will never forget. While the breakfast was fun, the coming hours did not follow suit. I spent a few hours cleaning the dirty laundry and feeding the residents while others tended to their therapeutic needs. Simply working with them was eye-opening and bewildering. This experience left me feeling grateful yet guilty. For me, (Christian), we continued to bond with the adolescent mothers at Casa Mantay. We started the day hauling clay rocks to construct an oven to be used for lunch. Following this grueling task, we spent the last hours with the mothers assisting with lunch and bonding over volleyball. Although today was our last day with them, they will forever remain in our minds and hearts.
