Location: Sydney

Our day began bright and early, for me at least, at 6:30 am. After a quick breakfast, we caught the 380 bus to head downtown for the day. We made our way to the well known Sydney Opera House for a tour. We saw the smaller theaters and the main theater that once welcomed Arnold Schwarzenegger and Mel Gibson. After some quick pictures, we headed to a botanical garden that is adjacent to the theater. The view was indescribable. We spent the late morning enjoying the view, eating lunch, and, of course, team building activities. We then headed across town to another tourist attraction, the Sydney Harbour Bridge. While some wanted to climb to the absolute top of the bridge, we compromised with climbing to the top of one of the pylons. Two hundred steps to the top and we were surrounded by the most beautiful view you could get of Sydney. We could see for miles and miles past the city. While some of us were tired from the climb, we made time to get souvenirs for ourselves, family and friends. Half of us went shopping and the other half, myself included, decided to explore the many food options of Sydney. When we exhausted ourselves with shopping and eating, we stopped at a local grocery store for us to cook dinner with each other tonight. A hearty dinner of spaghetti and salad will have us counting sheep early tonight. Tomorrow, the Blue Mountains!
