Waking up under sail in the middle of the Caribbean Sea is nothing new to my fellow shipmates and I, therefore when it happened today (while we were underway to the island of Jost Van Dyke), it felt almost normal to have crystal clear water surrounding me when I woke up today. Once both of the GoBeyond vessels made it to Jost, all of us jubilantly hoped in dinghies to be brought to land. Jost Van Dyke is a mysterious island, full of many fun and exhilarating people; a certain local I quickly befriended was a six-year-old named David. Once my new friend David had shown me all around the town he grew up in; we met back up with the rest of the group so we could all go back to the boats. After an adventuresome sail from Jost to Great Tobago, we all hopped in the water to snorkel around and goof off for a couple of hours. Sadly, like all good days, the day had to begin to end, and we brought the kids back to Jost on quite a bumpy trip.
