Location: Beijing
All of us came together from the far reaches of the globe as we arrived at Beijing International Airport to be greeted by the beaming smiles of our staff members. After gathering together, we hopped on the bus and after a short ride arrived at the apartment in which we will be staying for the next three weeks. Once we were settled, we gathered in the living room and played a fun game of catchphrase. Although tired and jet-lagged, we managed to tough it out through a great homemade dinner and a short orientation. Tomorrow our last group member arrives completing Session 1 of Lifeworks’ 2013 China expeditions team. We are going to sleep excited and looking forward to what will turn out to be the best experience of our lives.
