Today was by far the best day. We woke up bright and early at 6:20 a.m. We  hopped on a dinghy and headed over to a local school. The school was painted  bright purple and had roosters running everywhere. We were assigned jobs to  do around the school. Some of the projects included raking up leaves and  twigs, building stairs, weeding, building a recycling enclosure, and building  and paining tables. Everybody was able to meet a wonderful little local girl  named Dory; she braided a lot of the Lifeworks girls’ hair for fun while we  took water breaks. Although it was a hot, sunny day, it was so fun to be out  in the community doing work for people who needed it the most. For lunch,  everybody gathered around the picnic table and made amazing PB&Js. We  continued to work and while we took a bit of a longer break, one of the  counselors introduced us to a game called “Frog Murderer”. It was a fun game  that required all of us to sit in a circle. We all bowed our heads while Dory  chose the “Frog Murderer”. Once chosen, the detective of choice would return  to the circle and would try to figure out who the murderer was. The  murderer’s job was to make eye contact with another person in the circle and  stick their tongue out; the detective would be on close watch to see who was  sticking their tongue out. As the day progressed, we finished our projects  and headed back to the boats. Once we got on the boat, we got off the mooring  ball and I drove the boat back to the docks to fill up the fresh water tanks. On the way there, everybody showered down below. It was amazing. Soon  after showering, Luna Kahuna, the other Lifeworks boat, rafted up next to us  for dinner. We had a wonderful buffet for burgers and potatoes. The day only  got better from there… Kat and Edie made brownies for dessert. Then BZ and  Shawn surprised us by telling us that we are going to Necker Island. Necker  Island is Richard Branson’s private island. Everyone is beyond excited to  visit it.
