Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today was by far one of my favorite days I started the day off by killing at least 20 flies around the boat. Then we went to shore and helped animal control clean cages and traps that they use to catch feral cats. During that process, I got my hair braided by the most darling girl named Dory. She is eight years old and so cute. Later in the day, we went to Necker Island where Dory’s mom lead us on a tour of the private island owned by Sir Richard Branson. We saw lemurs, Galapagos Tortoise’s and birds! They were all amazing, and we took a ton of photos. After that, we got to go swimming in the clearest waters I’ve ever seen in my life. It was pure paradise. Best of all on the way out we saw Richard himself! We even got a photo! Once we got back to the boat, I had the most wonderful fresh water shower! After that, we headed to the beach for a BBQ with everyone in the program!
