Cleanup Day

Location: West End, Tortola

This morning we woke up early and hiked spyglass one last time. It was so cool getting to finish out the trip the way we started–with a beautiful view. After the hike, we took one last group photo then headed back down to the boats. We had a hodge-podge breakfast, trying to finish the remainder of the food onboard. Soon after, we began a huge boat cleanup before heading back to the dock where we started. We cleaned the cabins, the salon, the galley, and the whole deck. After cleanup, we had shore time to shop around or eat at one of the restaurants at the dock. For our final squeeze, we shared our favorite part of the trip, and then had a final barbecue with all of Action Quest. Mike, the director, gave a final talk on the dock and then we signed our parts of the flag that we auctioned off. As we settle down for the final night, we are all sad to leave but excited to get back to our families. This high school summer program has been such a wonderful experience.
