Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
Today was another fabulous day. We woke up to music at around 7:30. Atlin and Leah got right to work, cooking up some fire pancakes for the boat. After devouring the pancakes, Luke, Siena, and Will had to attend a staff meeting, leaving us alone to dishy pit and deckie. Luckily, Cole, Liv, and Maddie flew through the dishes, and Lacey and Kate deckied. After cleaning up, the GoBs got picked up on a dinghy to Trellis, then took a taxi to Aragorn’s farm, where they weeded, composted, and planted. Amidst the tiring work, they came across a tarantula.
Meanwhile, we have just set sail to Beef Island in the Trellis, where we got some early lunch and did some shopping. Cole and I managed to salvage two coconuts from a coconut tree, which we enjoyed later after Luke chopped em up. Back to the GoBes after weeding and planting, they engraved a plant into a bowl; Scarlett’s and Kate’s were especially good. They had peanut butter and jelly for lunch, and Riley was nice enough to give them a pizza from a nearby shop and lots of fruit throughout the day. They then took a taxi back to the dock and then a dinghy from there back to Glad 2 Be Here. We had arrived at Muskmelon about 30 minutes earlier. Once everyone was back, we showered, met our new staff member, Zoe, and had beef stroganoff, salad, and garlic bread for dinner. Leah, Atlin, and I cheffed up some brownies and cookies for dessert, then we ate them with no remorse before we had one of our final sail chats. Currently, we are hanging out. Everyone is super tired, and it is only 8 pm, but a lot was done today, and it flew by. Everyone is loving it out here, but we all miss home. Can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
