Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island

Today, we woke up to the smell of pancakes and freedom. Our staff members left to go to a staff meeting. Anna and Lily made a good and appropriate amount of pancakes, which we saved for our staff members. After cleanup, we had a chance to unwind and relax on the trampoline after our busy last few days. Later, due to popular request, we went snorkeling at a nearby reef. We spotted beautiful fish, jellyfish, and other marine animals. After our snorkel, we commenced our sail from Marina Cay to Muskmelon Bay on Guana Islands. Although hesitant at first, I enjoyed steering the boat. It makes me excited to get my permit in six months. Today was also Fun Day! After eating our delicious lunch (mac and cheese), we began the fun!

Groups of two went sailing in Picos, small sailboats. Most notably, Anna and Lily who capsized their boat numerous time. BOOM!, Anna was also hit in the head with the boom on the sailboat. Some of my shipmates went water skiing and wake-boarding. Witnessing the speed of the boat and the rush of adrenaline while wake-boarding was a memorable experience! While the second batch of water skiers and wakeboarders went out, a group of us took the dinghy to spot Boobies (the birds). After, we went swimming, and later, we had ocean showers before dinner. We also had some fun with ActionQuest today when we Lifeworkers showed up to their knots rotation and pretended like we were supposed to be there. They were very confused when they realized what was going on. With all of our prank-pulling complete, we had chili for dinner! We are now about to end this busy and fun day with an interesting and controversial documentary about the BVI. I am very excited to see what tomorrow brings. I have definitely learned a lot on this trip and I am confident saying that I now know how Lifeworks.
