Location: Rios Tropicales & Homestays
Hey guys, it’s Mia and Raquel again. We are back from our east coast excursion! Today we woke up at around seven at the beautiful Rio Tropicales lodge, located on the Pacuare river. Breakfast was comprised of the BEST banana pancakes ever, in addition to eggs and other breakfast staples. We surprised Colby with a HUGE banana pancake, as it is his 19th birthday, and everyone present at breakfast joined in song to commemorate his birthday. The group departed on a 15-minute hike to a nearby waterfall and swim hole, where we spent about an hour jumping off of rocks and swimming in cold water. We returned to the lodge and prepared ourselves for the remaining leg of our rafting trip. During rafting, the group encountered level one through four rapids. Now we are waiting for the host families to arrive. Bye, love you guys!! You will hear from us again when we get our phones back! #nocivilizationnearby #weloveEvan (for giving us our phones). But wait! A surprise birthday cake for Coleby! Happy Birthday, Coleby! Hope everyone has a fun time with their host families.
