Location: The Dogs

Welcome to day 9 on Hope, and the daily tasks and activities completed by the crew each day.

Everybody woke up to the golden rays of sunshine, beating down onto the shimmering turquoise sea, filled with exotic fish.

We walked to the breakfast table, to find Merin had cooked a wonderful meal, with scrumptious tasting scrambled eggs made with care.

The GoBeyond girls, Maeve and I, went snorkeling in the stunning reef, filled with gleaming coral and Dory’s family from Finding Nemo. Merin stayed behind, picking up her first book in months, having been deprived of her phone.

Vegas and advanced dive went scuba diving deep into the depths of the Navy seabed with jellyfish and luminescent fish. Kean had to come up after five feet, sadly, having not equalized his ears.

Stella was spotted doing awesome flips in the water, ready to take on national gymnastics. Addy mentioned being able to see fantastic fish in the water that thrive in the natural sea environment, and Reese scuba dived her first open water today, which is an amazing achievement.

Chase lost an expensive slate today; oh no! He and Henry also explored this epic cave in the ocean.

Grey and Charlie also did their first open water dive today, with amazing results.

After a well-cooked meal, Maeve, Merin, and I spent most of the day reading good books while the others continued to dive.

We finished the evening with a deep clean of the boat, since it was starting to become dirty, and a delicious meal cooked by the staff.
