Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola

Hello, team; another wonderful day has passed. We had oatmeal for breaky with pineapple, which was totally delicious. After we cleaned up, we sailed to Marina Cay to pick up mangrove trees. The boat was filled up with 100 saplings, so there was not much room to walk around. Once we were on our way to Diamond Cay, where we were planting the saplings, we had a lunch of chicken quesadillas. We started planting saplings at 1 pm with the quest boat, so instead of 8 people planting 100 saplings, we had 20, plus the help of our skippers. The island we were at had hundreds of tiny little crabs. I got to hold some of the crabs and even two super tiny hermit crabs. It only took an hour to plant the saplings, so before heading back to Marina Cay, we had to take a swim in Diamond Cay. When we got back from mangrove planting, we did a deep clean of the cabins and heads. The best part of the day was definitely the dolphins we saw. They came up right by the boat and stuck with us for 30 minutes. Dinner was chicken Thai curry and rice, and after cleaning up, we started another forum activity. That about wraps up our day. Bye Bye! – Augusta Day 2 of being a fish: The fishy tendencies are getting worse. I can’t say too much about the specifics of my boatmates’ and my condition, but it’s not looking any better. The boat is getting smellier, but I rather enjoy good sushi or battered fish, so I like it. We’ll update you more tomorrow, but for right now, I must enjoy some brookies (brownies + cookies). Blub blub…
