Location: Cusco
As we woke up to the scenic views on our hotel terrace, we went downstairs and made our parfaits. After we ate breakfast, we met with our tour guide William who showed us the ancient ruins. We then continued our journey through the Cusco streets. Here we witnessed Peruvian masks, dances, and colorful floats. After roaming through the city, the group decided to eat at a restaurant with various Peruvian options. We took pictures with the baby llamas on the streets. We returned to the hotel for a brief meeting and continued to Casa Mantay (a home for adolescent mothers). We cooked dinner and shared a meal as a whole, meanwhile getting to know each other for the days ahead.
