Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
The morning started later than usual due to a 12 hour work day the day before. We woke up around 9 and ate some excellent scrambled eggs with blueberry muffins. The day started with a two-hour sail to Anegada. The wind picked up during the sail, but the waves were surprisingly calm. We got to Anegada around noon and were picked up by a taxi driver named Rondel. He drove us 15 minutes up the road to Loblolly Bay. Once there, we saw the beautiful white sandy beaches and clear blue water. We all hung out in comfortable hammocks and had an interesting conversation about the Italian mob. Some people went snorkeling in the water, and others hung out at the bar and ate loads of good food. After about two hours we made our way back into the cab and back to the boat. The sail back to Virgin Gorda was closer to three hours and everyone on the boat except Elliot, and I fell asleep. Around 6:00 PM we made it back to Mountain Point where we were going to be spending the night. We had a fantastic Chicken Caesar Salad and risotto for dinner. After dinner, Elliot and David showed the whole boat just how turtles come up for air and eat food. It was one of the funniest things all of us have ever seen.
