The day started off waking up at 6:30, regular time for a workday. We got to the shore around 8 and went straight up to Valley Day School. The day started with a group going to Little Rainbows School to finish building a swing-set that had taken three days to complete. Before lunch, we worked on clearing a path for the fence that was going to build later in the afternoon. One of the toughest projects that I worked on was digging up a root system from a big tree that was in the way of the future fence. We got cold drinks for lunch which were nice. The afternoon started with a group securing the placed fence to the posts. The afternoon was a lot of the same jobs, but while placing the fence, we separated a chicken on the outside from its family on the inside. The chicken eventually found a way around the fence and got to its family. At about 6:15 we left Valley Day with the fence built but not finished. We had Mexican Night for dinner, and it was delicious.
