Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

Today we woke up to a breakfast of cereal and oatmeal at Sandy Spit and sailed to Tortola. We arrived and got into a taxi to a mangrove site where we measured and recorded data of the mangrove trees. Afterward, we returned to Tortola and had shore time. We visited the gift shops, ate lunch at Pusser’s, and may have managed to call family and friends. After a filling lunch, we sailed to a different mangrove site where we took data again, and some of us managed to hold some sea urchins! We then returned to the boat for a quick sail to Peter Island where we jumped into the ocean to cool off and shower and then had Mexican Night for supper.
