Location: Chugchilan, Ecuador
My first thought about the Andes was how cold it was, like my hometown, Stockholm and my second thought was ‘Wow, I can’t breathe!’, which is what happens when you’re 3,200 meters above sea level, although I’ve already decided this is my favorite destination! The height gives us great opportunities to enjoy the view over mountains and hopefully some llamas. Not only is the view great, but the mountain lodge was also amazing! Walking into the main room was like stepping into a movie. There was a little fireplace to keep us warm, and several smaller wooden tables for eating. I followed a path with eleven other girls, whom I’ll be sharing a lovely little cottage with, during the few upcoming days. I’m excited to see how these upcoming days turn out!
