Location: Cairns
Today we started off with a nice little drive down to Cairns, with an amazing surprise of getting our phones back, we watched scenery whizz past as we made our way down the twisty road. When we arrived at the motel, we were greeted with the amazement of a really nice apartment with a kitchenette and spacious rooms. We then walked over to COLES and Hungry Jacks where we had burgers and chips, which had chicken salt on them which is the best invention ever. We walked on over to Coles, and I bought ingredients for tonight’s dessert, Pavlova, I found Passion Fruit which made my day. We walked back to the motel where I spent the next 40 minutes whisking egg whites by hand, and Rex got a haircut. We hung around the motel for a few hours before going out to the Night Markets. We had dinner at a Woodfire pizza restaurant, and we walked around the markets for 2 hours, I got a massage while everyone shopped for gifts. Sofie and Samara bough the same sunglasses and Samara and Rex bought rings. We taxied back to the hotel where I decorated the Pavlova, and we watched the season finale of Love Island Australia.
