Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
Today is our seventh day in the BVI, and we have already done plenty. We finally began snorkeling and learned the basic skills needed for capturing turtles. When snorkeling there were many different kinds of animals ranging from crabs to worms to squid. When learning the basics of turtle capture we practiced in the water by holding onto a rope which is tied to a dingy. The dingy then drag us across the water so that we can travel hastily without effort. After being pulled by the dingy we all came together to discuss what must be done ignorer to properly record and tag a turtle.
Until next time
