We are now a little over halfway through the trip and it’s been going great! We’ve been to two schools, tagged seven turtles, helped out at the dog show and cleaned up some beaches! The first half of the trip has flown by and we’re all looking forward to the rest of the trip. All of the students are awesome and are already feeling like a big family. All of the students are doing so well and always excited to participate in the projects we are doing. Lydia is always the first one to jump at the opportunity to be at the helm. Linus always volunteers to help the staff out and is a pro at keeping the boat in line. Madi is always smiling and loves working with all the local children. Gillian gives 110 percent to everything she does and even though she can’t drive a car she can sure dock a yacht. Taylor is such a hard worker and immediately picked up how to tie all the knots on the boat. Jaclyn is always keeping everyone laughing and is always in good spirits. Elle immediately volunteers for any job or task needed and is always doing it with a huge smile. The staff can’t keep Ladislas out of the water, he loves it so much and he always dives head first into everything we do. Graham constantly keeps us guessing and laughing with his wit and jokes. Eli is awesome with all the local kids and kept the school children entertained with baseball for hours. It’s been awesome to see everyone becoming such good friends and we can’t believe the session is almost over!
