Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
The old saying the early bird gets the worm does not stand for Ewak. We woke up at 6 am to pick up anchor and head straight towards Lee Bay in hopes of catching a turtle during feeding time. After about an hour an a half we decided to try our luck elsewhere and go to Monkey Bay. Once again we struck out of luck with no turtles and decided to set sail to brewers bay — this sail ‘twas a dangerous maneuver which lasted nearly 2 hours. Once we arrived, we ate some great Ramen and proceeded to get towed by the dingy. Once again, we saw no turtles, but we saw other cool things like nurse sharks, octopi, stingrays, and Suzy falling on Ryan. We finished our day by sailing to Cane Garden Bay to anchor and fill up fresh water. It was a disappointing turtle tagging day, but it was still another beautiful day in paradise.
