Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Hi all! We woke up this morning and got dressed to go on a hike up to the peak of an island called Spy Glass Hike, which was very hot and humid but was definitely worth the scrapes and sweat for the amazing view. After that, we put on our life jackets and settled in for a 3-hour trip to Virgin Gorda. Some people took naps or read while others listened to an extensive playlist of songs to pass the time. When we arrived, we dropped anchor and made lunch (sandwiches!) and then listened to Krisz’s talk on sailing, which included a song to remember the different places wind can hit the sails. We then swam near the boat, some of us practicing our flips and dives off the side, and finally finished the day with brownies and a movie.
