Location: Marina Cay

This morning, we were able to sleep in and have a good breakfast (breakfast burritos). After that, we went to a town on an island called Anegada. There, we were able to find somewhere to use our phones with good wifi. But that didn’t matter because we spent a lot of the time there enjoying the island. We stayed there for a little over an hour. Next, we went on a three-hour sail which was pretty fun. It was fun to be skipper and control the boat and sail. It took a lot of focus, but I was able to do it very well. After that, we had a quick lunch and then had a quick meeting with the other GoBeyond boat. We learned the history and facts of Lionfish and their effects on the Caribbean. Soon after we went to the water looked for invasive Lionfish to find where they live so we could limit their species growth. At the end of the day there was some confusion about where we would be going and what we would be doing, but in the end, we decided to spend the night in Marina Key.
